Richard Stammler*, Ph.D., began his academic studies in psychology at the University of Akron including graduate studies and a master’s thesis, Psychological Sequelae of Viral Encephalitis in Children, conducted in conjunction with a pediatric neurologist. After serving as a pilot and pilot instructor in the United States Air Force, he completed his Ph.D. in transpersonal psychology. He taught undergraduate and graduate classes as a teaching intern while completing his Master’s Degree, and later at San Antonio College as a psychologist. He holds certifications in Ericksonian hypnotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy from IARRT and is director of the Warrenton Inner Healing Center in Warrenton, Virginia, where he conducts transpersonal therapy.
