Abstract

In his work with spirit releasement, the author discovered that any curses, oaths, or vows spoken or thought by the clients seemed to bind them to others in an unending cycle of Karmic ties.  Through work with special prayers of forgiveness aimed at releasing these vows or oaths or curses, the client can be freed of the Karmic obligations.  Forgiveness is the key.

Many aspects of past life therapy such as hauntings, spirit attachment, alien activities, and past life recall healings have been more than adequately investigated, reported upon, and their findings published in the many excellent books available for both the lay practitioners and the professionals engaged in past life work. One aspect of the work that has received little or no mention is the field of Curses, Oaths, and Vows. This was one of the major aspects that emerged as our work progressed. My partner in this work, a gifted psychic, and I (lay practitioners) have been engaged for more than twenty years in an evolving activity which is based on working with deceased individuals, with an emphasis on the removal of attachments, forgiveness, the removal of curses, oaths, and vows, and addictions. The once a week sessions lasted from two to four hours. We attempted to work with at least four individuals or groups per evening session, but the numbers varied based on the depth of the issues that surfaced and the resistance of attached entities, if present.

We also occasionally worked with people still in the physical body. The work with a living person was done remotely. Attempts to work live with an individual present in the room were soon abandoned—too much self-denial as the material was exposed. Working remotely with an unconscious aspect of the living individual’s soul was much more productive. It should be noted that man’s sense of time and God’s is different! Sometimes positive results occurred immediately. In other cases it seemed no change had occurred at all—only to find, sometimes years later, that positive change in their life had eventually occurred. Some past life material did, of course, emerge during the sessions, but was not the main object of the work, other than to help the individual understand the source of the problems being uncovered, or perhaps why an entity or entities, some bent on revenge, had attached to the person. On occasion, the number of attached entities, on the client and on the attached entities themselves, was hard to believe.

The results of our work indicate that all souls, including Jesus, have a black box containing a record of all of our negative experiences, past and present. Jesus calls his black box “The Black Madonna” and said he got his “wisdom” from those experiences. Some of those we worked with were feeling very negative about what they had done in their last life; looking into Jesus’ black box amazed them and made them feel much better about themselves. Jesus often counseled those feeling very bad about themselves; it lifted their spirits and helped them realize their past actions did not bar their entrance into the Light. Unresolved issues would be worked on in future lives, after study in the Light. We have never worked with any soul, including ourselves, who did not have negative, unresolved issues. The prayer work resolved many of these issues. We were told by Spirit that the forgiveness prayer work eliminated the necessity of living certain planned future lives because the karma was now resolved by those who formerly were bound up in the past events.

The Process

The protocol that evolved is stated briefly. Prayer is a fundamental and essential part of the work. A prayer of protection for my partner and me, the home, its contents, and property was invoked prior to beginning each session. Another prayer request was made that angels come in and remove any residual negative energy, entities, or attachments remaining after the evening session was completed and take them into the pure White Light. My partner would then go into a self-induced altered state and the session would begin.

First a request was made as to whether or not the client would like to work with us this evening. Rarely was the answer “no,” and, if so, no further attempts were made with that individual. Occasionally we were told that the client was resting and unavailable, and to try again at some point in the future. If the answer was affirmative, the client was enclosed in a veil of protective pure White Light and a prayer of protection and guidance for all was invoked.

A discussion ensued with the client, explaining our purpose and the intent of our work, that we were God-centered, and were here to help them. The client was then scanned for attachments. If an attachment or attachments were present, they were asked why “it” or “they” had attached to the client. Revenge was most often the answer; they had attached to get even! Other times it was someone close to the client and they were endeavoring to protect, help, and guide them. Other entities were sometimes identified that had never interfaced with the client but had attached during an illness, alcoholic or drug induced binge, or hospitalization when the natural defenses had been greatly weakened, allowing the attached invasion. (Hospitals are very dangerous places teeming with lost, fearful, or confused deceased souls looking for help!)

We do not understand the “immutable law” which allows an attachment(s) bent on fulfillment of a curse or vow to locate and attach to a soul whom they perceive has wronged them. How do they know said soul has now reincarnated and is available to be punished by them? Were other intervening lives lived since the alleged victimization occurred? The mechanics of “curses, oaths, and vows fulfillment” has many unanswered questions.

The attachments were told they did not have to go away, but to merely detach and stand nearby and participate in the prayer work if they so desired. We then asked the client and the attachments if they had ever been victims. They nearly always answered “yes.” We then stated that during the course of our work that we had never found a victim. The karmic pattern we have found was this: In a previous life, I took a perceived negative, or perhaps a fatal action against you, and you cursed me for this act as you were dying, vowing revenge! Then in a future lifetime, as a result of your dying, binding curse, you fulfilled your vow of revenge; in my death throes, I cursed you, and a karmic cycle of revenge was created that repeats itself over and over, lifetime after lifetime until forgiveness dissolves the binding curses. This is a very common cycle of revenge that we have worked with many times with clients and their attachments.

We then asked the client and the attached if they were willing to look at the individual records of their own soul to see if they were truly victims. They have always answered “yes.” We then asked their own personal guides to come in with the private records of their souls. We explained that this soul record review is personal and private between the client, the individual attachments, and their own personal guides. My partner does monitor the client and sometimes comments on what she is seeing. I see nothing. They are then asked to remember, in the last life they lived, each time they had felt they had been a victim, and then allow their personal guides to show them, in all of their past lives, soul memories of apparent victimization. I remain silent until the process is completed unless symbolic material raises questions during the client’s review. We then asked the client and the attachments if anyone still thought they were victims. The answer 99% of the time was “no”—they now fully understand. The occasional “yes’” responders were invited to go back to their private records and look deeper. The second review answer always changed the former “yes” response to “no”! The “record reviewers” then usually ask what can be done to change and heal these issues. The response was, “Prayer work!”

They are then asked if they would like to talk with Jesus. He is always available to those who reach out to him. The answers will come in many forms such as dreams if they lack the psychic ability to hear him. The client and the attachment/s always respond with an enthusiastic “yes.” We then tell them he can converse with and answer all of their questions simultaneously. “Ask him to show you his black box and what he thinks of it…” They are informed that every soul has a “black box.” We then ask the Master to come in and talk to them.

Again time is given them to complete their questioning. This brings much peace of mind. Most are amazed and humbled by what they observed in Jesus’ “black box”! Jesus had previously told us that he called his black box, “His Black Madonna,” and his wisdom came from the past life experiences stored in the box. We then ask them if they (the client and the attachments) desire to do some prayer work beginning with the prayer of forgiveness upon completion of their discussions with Jesus. They all usually respond that they would, or in the case of the attachments they often ask what they have to do to be able to go into the Light. We respond, “They are free to go right now—the door is always open,” but we suggest that they might want to do some prayer work first. At this point they really are eager to do the prayer work.

For the reader’s information and understanding, it should be mentioned that we always invoke an open invitation to those watching or monitoring our sessions from Spirit to feel free to participate with their own “in-Spirit groups” during the prayer work as it occurs during the session. They are also invited to join in the visits with Jesus as he is able to interface with both groups and answer all of their questions simultaneously. We do not know how many from Spirit do participate in the prayer work, but the offer is always made at the beginning of every weekly session. We do know that those on our list whom we have not yet worked with do sometimes monitor the sessions, and on rare occasions have interrupted a session demanding to be worked with immediately. In one instance, when we asked if the client and his son wanted to work with us—the son replied angrily—“It’s about time you got to us”! This father and son duo are both still in their physical bodies, and no one in the physical world had asked us to try to work with them. I was aware of the drug related family issues of the duo and had put them on our “To Be Worked With” list some time previously. Figure that one out—how did the drug plagued son become aware of our work and their being placed on the list?

The work has several very intriguing, unexpected aspects. My partner had no knowledge of the names I placed on the “to do” list. She was constantly visited by entities, both alive and deceased, at night in her sleep state, causing many nightly disruptions.  As the session progressed she would often remember a visit the night before from the client we were currently working with. On occasion, in her sleep state, she would be visited by large, upset groups of souls prior to a tragic event resulting in many deaths. Her sleep on many nights did not produce much rest! Psychic abilities can often be a mixed blessing.

The following Prayer of Forgiveness was the next step.

We then send out an invitation to the “Universe” inviting all who would like to forgive the client and any attachments gathered here, and to be forgiven by them and any attachments gathered here, to come in at this time. On occasion, it would take some time for all to gather, often coming from the far corners of the Universe! During this time I see nothing! My partner often describes the new arrivals (often masses), and the strange garb they are sometimes cloaked in and the different time periods of history they seem to represent. On occasion they are presented in strange symbolism which I seem to have an ability to interpret. It is explained to all present that I will say the prayer, but that they must repeat it also. We would ask if any of those now present have any questions. We tried to answer their questions to the best of our ability. Most appeared to fully understand why they were here and gratefully thanked us for the opportunity to heal old wounds and release the curses, oaths, and vows related to them. In a past session, an attachment was found to be a Russian serf still bound to his master by a vow of bondage. Curses, oaths, and vows have real power although the implementing laws are unknown. The prayer brings much healing and relief and we are often thanked for the release and peace of mind it brings. After a period of discussion and integration, they are then asked if they would like to do the Prayer To Remove Curses, Oaths, & Vows.

Sometimes, because of serious disruptions, it was necessary to do the Curses, Oaths, & Vows Prayer as a clearing and cleansing action before we can administer the Prayer of Forgiveness. On occasion Spirit would direct us to do it first. On rare occasions we will ask the Archangel Michael, Keeper of the Way and the Light, to come and encapsulate in White Light and remove a disruptive dark entity attachment who is attempting to scuttle the healing process. This is a rare occurrence, but it does happen! Sometimes in the initial contact with the deceased client they are still carrying the physical pain of their death experience. This pain is felt by my partner and can be debilitating. Archangel Michael is asked to come in and remove this pain so that the session can continue and he does so! This does not happen too often.

Once again I inform the client and the attached entities that I will recite the prayer, but that they must say the words also. The prayer is recited and is followed by a period of integration and discussion. The results of the prayer are often profound – amazement is often expressed by the participants. Many of the curses, oaths, and vows are ancient in origin. Apparently mankind’s history has been plagued by the existence of  secret  societies bent on achieving unwarranted power, spiritual control, wealth, and the appeasement of the wrath of their ancient vengeful Gods through the use of curses, oaths and vows; some very malignant in nature. I experience none of what my partner is permitted to observe. She often comments verbally on what she is seeing and experiencing for my edification. Many in the physical body today are totally unaware of the impact these ancient binding actions have on their current life! Past life therapists could initiate a deep healing process in some of their clients by use of prayer work to remove curses, oaths, and vows if they are comfortable with the use of prayers in their therapy practice.

The next step offered to the client (and attachments if they wished) is an opportunity to participate in The Prayer of Addiction if it was revealed during the course of the session that addiction in some form was an issue in the client’s last life and/or past lives. Addiction takes many forms such as drugs, chemical substances, alcohol, nicotine, gambling, and addictive sexual activities, all of which can cause both personal and family trauma, tragedy, and often grave financial loss.

The standard instructions for the prayer were then given. Participating in this prayer seemed to give them comfort and hope; they appreciated the opportunity to work on these issues. We have no way of knowing the results of this prayer. One of the drug addiction karmic patterns that often emerged during the course of our work was that clients with drug addiction issues in this lifetime had experienced a past life or lives as an Englishman involved in some aspect of forcing opium use upon innocent Chinese people during the “Opium Wars.”

The Prayer of Empowerment was then offered to the client and the attachments. It was also greatly appreciated by them.

And finally, the client and the attachments, and those participating in the prayer work from Spirit were asked if they would like Jesus to take them into the Light. They always responded enthusiastically to the offer. We then asked Jesus if he would come and take the group present into the Light, which he did.

After their departure and a short prayer of thanks for the help and assistance received from Spirit, we proceeded on to the next name on the list.

COMMENTS ON THE WORK

We were also told by Spirit that the work we were participating in can only be accomplished by entities that are still alive in a physical body; it was never explained why. What prevents those in Spirit from doing this work? We do know those in Spirit monitor our work and when invited are willing to come in and assist during a session, repeatedly if necessary! Individuals have on occasion interrupted a session and demanded to be worked with immediately. They were gently told they must wait for their turn; usually this worked out. However, on a few occasions we were never able to re-establish contact with them – being unable to positively establish who they were! Sometimes my partner would recognize them as having come to her in the dream state. Early in our learning process we did on occasion work with the wrong entity because I failed to clearly identify the entity that we were seeking! Perhaps that was what was meant to be – but clearly not whom we thought it would be. It is essential to give Spirit clear identity instructions so that the proper entity gets the invitation to work with us. Although now separated by several hundred miles (my partner retired from her profession and moved to another state) we still work remotely by telephone on occasion when need has been expressed to us, i.e. “the deeply depressed young marine Iraq combat veteran with PTSD with thoughts of suicide” who is discussed later in this document. As time went on, more questions than answers arose as the work evolved.

We worked with one woman who had written extensively on death and dying. She agreed to work with us, but when she saw me, she exclaimed, “I certainly didn’t expect it to be you!” Who knows what I had done to her some time in the past!

We also worked with Dr. Ian Stevenson who gave us permission to use his name in this document, although we will name no others involved in our sessions. We asked permission to mention our session with him because Dr. Stevenson had previously expressed a desire, if possible, to establish communication from “the other dimension” after his passing, as proof that the soul survived death, and to validate his life’s extensive research on “reincarnation and related subjects such as near death experiences.” During the session Dr. Stevenson observed, “That apparently there were many more facets related to reincarnation that he had never contemplated during his life of research on the subject.” Dr. Stevenson had no attachments and was very calm throughout the entire session. He stated that he was already in the Light when our offer to work with him was received.

The number of those we worked with, especially the attachments, who had condemned themselves to hell or considered themselves unworthy of the Light (or Heaven) because of their past actions, was truly disheartening. Certain religious dogmas have created enormous amounts of guilt and fear of eternal “hellfire and damnation.” No wonder they attach to the nearest apparent refuge! Discussion of the prayer work and talking with Jesus gave them a new understanding and an eagerness to enter into the Light. Our work confirmed that the Creator’s love for us is absolute, unconditional, and eternal, and that all souls are valued equally; the doorway to God is always open. Jesus stated this very clearly in “The Parable Of The Prodigal Son.”

The “dark attachments” were more difficult. They also carried a lot of fear within themselves about being punished if they failed in their mission. One of the disarming questions we often ask them is, “Have the ones who control you ever fulfilled any of their promises to you?” The answer was always “no!” Usually we are able help them release their fear and hatred and eventually arouse a desire to participate in the prayer work. Upon completion of the prayer work they were always eager to enter into the Light. On rare occasions one of the dark ones would become very disruptive to my partner, the client and the willing attachments, threatening the progress and outcome of the session. We would then request Archangel Michael, “Keeper of the Way and the Light “to come and encapsulate the threatening “dark one” in White Light and remove it; then the session in progress could continue. We have no idea where the dark ones were taken by Archangel Michael, but peace and harmony were restored. This was a rare event. We never were seriously threatened by the dark ones. Dangerous dark ones certainly do exist, but it is my belief that we were divinely protected from working with the extremely malevolent ones, and that we were unconsciously guided to work only with the clients and attachments who could be assisted by the level of our competence.

Sometimes the client would still carry pain from their death; my partner would feel that pain and experience extreme physical discomfort. We would ask Archangel Michael to come in and remove the pain and discomfort from my partner and the client and take it into the White Light where it would harm no human or thing. We could then continue the session. My partner often knew the cause of the client’s death as its energy would affect the same areas of her body. Some clients who were heavily sedated prior to death were still almost comatose; we were able get them to release the lethargy and proceed with the session. Every session followed our protocol and every session required different adjustments to handle the unforeseen situations as they developed.

Help from those in Spirit

As the work went on there seemed to be no limit to the assistance available from Spirit.   If help was requested; it took many forms. One of the things we discovered in the evolution of our work was the availability and willing assistance available from souls residing in Spirit. We often called for the assistance of a deceased, known, trusted friend of the client when dealing with the client’s overwhelming fears, often religious in nature. The client’s deceased, trusted friend (often one we had previously worked with) would be called in to converse with the client about what to expect when they entered into the Light and allay any unwarranted fears they might have. We often asked assistance of a famous, black, deceased NFL football player when dealing with deceased professional football players to allay their unwarranted fears. His assistance was invaluable when working with these former NFL members. On one occasion, the client (a young, black, deceased NFL football player) was still lying in his coffin. Our spirit helper rather sternly said, “You get up out of that coffin right now – you have important work to do!” The use of deceased friends from Spirit quickly erased their fears accelerating the session’s progress. During a different session the client was amazed when his “heathen brother-in-law” came into the session with a bright, shining glow to assure him he had nothing to fear of death. Unlike the client he never attended nor had ever been a member of any church – and the client was rather startled by his glowing, loving spiritual aura. He asked his brother-in-law, “What do I have to do to achieve that glowing aura?”

Rescue Work

Some of the most fearful clients we worked with had lived at least one past life as a “hellfire and damnation” preacher. We were told they had to experience all of the fears they had put into the members of their congregations, especially the children. We were told the rescue work we were performing could only be accomplished by live human beings. It is my personal belief that the combination of masculine and feminine energies produces a more balanced environment for rescue work. We recommend this balance to altruistic groups who might choose to do this work in the future.

The rescue work is not some plaything to be taken lightly and should only be undertaken by those altruistic inspired people who seek to help those deceased lost souls to forgive, release the binding curses, oaths, and vows, release their addictions, and help them find their way into the Light. Prayers, White Light protection, requests for Divine guidance, and, if necessary, Divine intervention must be an integral part of any attempts to do the rescue work. Our work was blessed by a very gifted psychic; most of the results were obtained through her outstanding abilities and integrity. She remembered very little of our sessions. It is my belief that this was a divine gift to her; remembering all she experienced would have been a tremendous burden to carry. Dr. Melvin Morse, in his fine book, Transformed By The Light, mentioned that several of the “Near Death Experiences” talked about traveling through bubbles during their NDE events. In our sessions my partner often experienced swimming through bubbles; many times she became fearful of being trapped by them.

Veterans

Combat veterans of all nations, based on our experiences, carry a distinct possibility of spirit attachments, often numerous. The attachments may be civilians, military buddies, or foreign soldiers killed in combat with the client. A personal friend, a veteran of WWII who experienced vicious combat on the island of Okinawa in the Pacific Ocean, was troubled by almost weekly nightmares in which he was still fighting Japanese soldiers. Prayer work with him in the late 1980’s revealed the presence of several very angry, attached Japanese soldiers. The nightmares ceased after the prayer work was successfully completed. A young lady from a western state recently graduated from high school, and traveling alone, ventured to Washington D.C., where she sought and obtained a clerical job working for the CIA. On a trip returning back to the western state for a vacation, she found herself on an airliner seated next to a young American soldier on leave from recent combat experiences in Vietnam. Once on the ground at her destination, she found herself suddenly struck with great fear. She did not return to her job in Washington D.C. and was no longer her former confident self, thus adversely affecting the course of her life. Prayer work with her some years later revealed the presence of a North Vietnamese soldier who had attached to her while she was sitting next to the young combat-hardened GI on the airliner. The fears left her following the release of the attachment during a successful prayer work session.

We did, on occasion, offer an open invitation to the prayer work when we realized that large numbers of deceased veterans of all nations had not gone into the Light. We would send out an open call to the Universe offering any deceased military personnel the opportunity to participate in the prayer work. Very large groups of combat soldiers of all nations responded to this invitation. The assembled group always included a mixed group of military personnel of all nationalities. We respected the various religions often present in the assembled group. A request was made for Spirit to send some key enlightened spiritual leaders or prophets from each religious group present to come and talk to their members, explain the process, and converse with them while Jesus talked to those wishing to speak with him.

A personal friend, a young Marine vet who had completed several tours in Iraq, was deeply depressed and threatening suicide. The Veterans Hospital and its drugs were of no help, providing no relief from his horrors. His very worried mother contacted us and asked that we work with him. When we remotely contacted him on the spirit level he agreed to work with us. It was soon discovered that he had already made the decision to terminate his life. It was also revealed that he had several enemy soldiers and Jihadist attachments that were bent on destroying him. We were able to convince the attachments to participate in the prayer work. We also requested that his deceased step-father (the WWII veteran previously discussed in the first paragraph of this section) come in to talk to and counsel him, noting he had faced these same challenges himself. We also asked Jesus to talk with him in depth about suicide. The prayer work was successful for both the young Marine and the attachments; the attachments were taken into the Light. The next day the mother reported that immediately after the prayer work session (remotely accomplished, his physical presence being some 100 miles away) her son went to bed and slept peacefully for fourteen hours, something he had been unable to do for months. He awoke in a very peaceful, happy state of mind. He continues to this day to be at peace with himself and with others; he recently decided to enroll in college.

There is a great need for this type of rescue work, and, based on our experience, it has great possibilities in assisting veterans suffering from PTSD. Perhaps some of the professional readers working with veterans will pick up this challenging work.

We once sent out a universal invitation for all submariners who were still trapped in their sunken submarines to participate in the prayer work. Only one crew responded; my partner saw a boat flying all the flags of the world coming to their rescue! On another occasion we worked with a group of airline passengers, many of them children, who had been killed when their plane was shot down. Instead of men, women, and children on the plane, my partner saw the airliner in flight; every seat occupied by fighter pilots in the uniforms of many nations they fought for. Were they balancing their karmic scales for shooting down and killing others? Who is to know or judge?

Hospitals

In one of our sessions we sent an open invitation to the prayer work to a local hospital; a very large group of lost, confused souls, along with their attachments, poured out of the hospital eager to participate in the prayer work. It was a very successful session – having died in the hospital, many souls had been lost and confused for a very long time. Hospitals are very dangerous places, teeming with lost, confused, and angry souls who sometimes successfully attach to very sick patients whose defenses are weak or depleted.

I had the very personal experience of having an angry male attachment latch on to me during an open-heart surgery hospitalization when my personal defenses were seriously depleted. Foolishly, I had attempted to work remotely with a dying elderly patient lying in the bed next to me without his conscious knowledge of my efforts. When I returned home from my surgery I had an intense desire to smoke; I am a non-smoker. I also was very angry for no apparent reason and had a strong desire to do bodily harm to my dear wife! Alarm bells went off and my partner and I quickly did a session which disclosed the presence of a very angry male attachment. We were able to convince him to participate in and successfully complete the prayer work, and then Jesus took him into the Light.

Rescuers who remove any attachment/s and then allow them to drift off do not solve the attachment’s problems. Many simply return to reattach themselves to the client or some other innocent person; who knows where the other floaters end up. Some of the attachments seem to make a sport of it – sampling anyone whose aura is available and vulnerable. Every effort should be made to convince the attachment/s to participate in the prayer work with the end goal of their being free of fears, while creating within them a desire to return to the Light.

One very enlightened soul we worked with told us she delayed her crossing from her hospital bed until she had accumulated four attachments. She apparently had some knowledge we were scheduled to work with her, and decided to rescue the four confused attachments in the process! We have been told by Spirit that the arrangements to work with souls we assisted in our rescue work had all been agreed upon eons and eons of time ago!

It is regretted that we only worked with one of the local hospitals. The need for rescue work in the hospitals, especially the military and veterans hospitals, are not being met. Hopefully in the future, other evolving altruistic rescue workers will step in and pick up on the unmet rescue work needs of both veterans groups and hospitals.

Suicide

We have worked with many suicide victims; apparently some suicide events are actually planned before the soul incarnates. We were told that sometimes a soul has become so totally callous and unfeeling, perhaps even vowing never to feel again after being grievously hurt or experiencing a series of hurts during the course of a life or several life times, that it requires “a severe shock lifetime” to get the soul back on track. The client then reincarnates into a life of such intense feelings from everything in the life, reaching a point where the life becomes unbearable – leading to the client’s suicide.

My partner commented several times about seeing racks of stacked souls observing and listening intently as we worked with a suicide victim. We once offered an open invitation to the group of monitoring souls in the racks to participate in the prayer work; some accepted the offer, but apparently others were not ready to move on yet.

Religious dogma’s judgment that the taking of one’s life results in eternal condemnation, hellfire, and damnation has created great fear in suicide victims. The reality is that the doorway to the Creator and the Light is always open; the scales will be balanced if there is suicide karma to be paid back. It will be paid back in a lifetime and manner of the client’s own choosing in the future. Many suicide victims told us their suicide had solved nothing – the unresolved issues would have to be relived in a future life. The suicide victims we worked with were always relieved and grateful for the opportunity for the prayer work and entry into the Light. Suicide is not a matter to be treated lightly; however, it does not mean condemnation, eternal hellfire, and damnation either.

Aspects of Curses, Oaths and Vows

Curses, oaths, and vows, an integral and inseparable part of our work, still remain an enigma. When spoken they come into existence; they have power far beyond the conscious awake state of most of mankind. Even those who utter and empower curses, oaths, and vows have no real understanding of the energy they unleash. They may be a two edged sword impacting both the intended recipient and the originator of the curse. The old proverb, “The man bent on revenge has best dig two graves” appears to apply to curses, oaths, and vows as well. One of the laws of physics states, “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.”

One tactic we sometimes used was to have the client visualize his worst enemy standing directly in front of him. The client was then instructed to hit his enemy as hard as he possibly could. The client would get a dumbfounded look on his face when he also was the direct recipient of his own blow. He would often exclaim, “That really hurt!” This is a classic example of cause and effect, or karma if you prefer to call it that. Every kindness, in time, is repaid. Every unkind act is also repaid in time but it will be a time of our own choosing. Paybacks are planned in Spirit where it is determined who will also be incarnated at the same time in the coming life, permitting the payback.

The removal of curses, oaths, and vows was an essential part of every prayer work session. It was impossible for us to determine the impact they had on the client and the attachment/s’ lives; we only know they were always grateful for their dissolution! As previously stated in this document, Spirit would sometimes inform us it was necessary to do the Curses, Oaths, & Vows Prayer first before the session could successfully proceed. During this prayer my partner would often see ancient sects and mystery school members in strange garb come for this prayer. Many possessed great power, even the ability to kill at great distances. Much more work will be required by others in the future to ferret out the hidden truths concerning curses, oaths, and vows.

In the book The Search for Om Sety, Ms. Om Sety, an expert on Egyptian curses, oaths, and vows reported an incident relating to a very large cobra that lived under her hut. Om Sety had visitors that day. The cobra came out from under her hut and began threatening her guests. She uttered the curse of protection from cobras using different inflections of the words with little success. She changed the inflections one more time, and the cobra instantly dropped to the ground and went back into the hole under her hut!  Cobras allegedly cannot hear. They certainly sense vibrations in the ground and perhaps this is how Om Sety’s message was delivered.

Much work on the study of curses, oaths, and vows still remains.  It is a fertile domain for those seeking to explore them.

Abortion

Abortion issues rarely came up during the prayer work, which seems to add support to my own personal position on the subject based on my most moving past life regression—one in which a vow was made—experienced during a music session. (Music past life regressions, in my opinion, are the safest method I have experienced. Your psyche is in total control and will only let you see what you are ready to see.) The past life took place in ancient China – when it was a crime to be a woman! I was a married woman; my husband in that life was my mother in this lifetime. Every year I had a girl baby and every year I had to kill it. I cried buckets of tears for that poor woman! Later in the life my husband died and the villagers kept me around to ridicule me because I had no male heirs to take care of me. I died vowing I would never be a woman again. I don’t know if that vow still exists, but on a conscious level I have no desire to be a woman again.

For me, the fetus is only an animal growing in utero until the soul becomes implanted in the body. Cayce stated that sometimes the soul implanted in utero.  Sometimes it might not implant for several days after the birth. From another point of view, Dr. Gladys McGarey, physician and co-founder of the American Holistic Medical Association, through her books and lectures tells of a very young daughter sitting on her mother’s lap telling mom about her last life, but then she said, “But that really wasn’t the last time. The last time I was about this big, and I was in your tummy and I had to go away! But I came back!” The mother was blown away – she thought no one knew about her abortion.

I personally do not believe that a soul accumulates a karmic debt through the act of abortion. I do believe that an abortionist might well accrue karmic debts by injuring women via crude and dangerous practices.

The Gift of Grace

We still do not understand what “the gift of grace” means after twenty years of prayer work. We do know that most people’s concept regarding “the gift of grace” is incorrect and incomplete. We always asked that “the gift of grace” be granted as a part of every forgiveness prayer session; we are unaware of the results. Once while working with a man in a prayer session, we invoked a request that the “gift of grace” be granted to him. Instantly my partner saw a sword plunged through his heart! Bad heart? Evil heart? Who knows? It certainly would not be a part of the average person’s concept of “the gift of grace.”  It is real. It is important. It is a gift. It is an enigma and one of life’s unsolved mysteries.

Uncommitted Love Energy

Spirit has told us one of the unmet needs of those souls working in Spirit on the other side is uncommitted “Love Energy.” Prayers generating “Love Energy” are usually dedicated to the person being prayed for. Small groups of nuns would sometimes send this energy to the soul we were currently working with. Others we were working with came in surrounded by a glow representing all the prayers invoked for them. Prayers are very powerful.

Undedicated “Love Energy” can be created by altruistic persons or prayer groups for use by those in Spirit assisting troubled souls and is sorely lacking in quantities needed. Hopefully some of those reading this document will heed the call.

Conclusions

The twenty-year journey has been a very rewarding learning experience. Alas, from my partner’s point of view my learning was ruefully slow. It took me a long time to realize how vulnerable she was in the trance state. My partner does not remember any of the sessions on a conscious level, which is a blessing. To do so would be a terrible burden to carry. The “nocturnal visitors” still visit every night and are a burden she does carry. We still work occasionally, remotely by phone, as an appeal for help arises. Hopefully others will utilize the “Session Protocol” or aspects of it in their practices.
