The Accident Trauma Release (Atr) Procedure: A Protocol for Professional Regression Therapists.

Marion Boon (The Netherlands)

Introduction

This practical instruction essay brings focus on the procedure of the ATR-technique, which I share with colleague regression therapists in order to help clients heal better, faster and permanently from violent experiences, including operations and simple accidents that may have triggered an unprocessed past. Only for professionals. This is a practitioner protocol based on the author’s experience.

Before applying the very effective ATR technique in Regression Therapy, knowledge and skills are required especially on:

  1. Tracing and recognizing foreign intrusions – working with attachments and obsessive fragments.
  2. Trigger points of past lives – to be healed and ended.
  3. Childhood trauma and hospital trauma – to be properly healed.
  4. Intense programs that stem from the family line and deceased parents, or even living parents and educators. Patterns. Recognize them.
  5. Out-of-body presences and energies, including externalized thoughts

with intense power of programming (survival, curses, wishes, despair, etc)

  1. Skilful healing of non-human attached energies which need to be freed out of the system – even when it may resist: You must be familiar with karmic exchanges and the use of karmic transactions.
  2. Undoing Karmic transactions in short: What came into the system is foreign. In order to settle in your system, some authentic energy has been lost, sent out, replaced, taken in by the obsessive entity or fragment.

That authentic energy must be retrieved. Claim it back. Name it: what exactly is it? We lose our freedom, our innocence, our courage, our spontaneity – especially when the intrusion is a dominant energy.

PROTOCOL / GUIDE

There is both association and dissociation within the procedure, often in varying combinations.

Steps of the ATR Procedure

  1. Ask about the impact on the body.
  • What was the first hit?
  • What was the first posture?

Follow the experience very specifically.

  1. Map the exact circumstances, impact, and situation.

Describe and analyse the event concretely and specifically.

What was the thought during the event?

A child may think: “Oh, my father will be so angry.”

A mother may think: “Oh, my baby is home alone!”

These worries are real and intense. Thoughts shape dense energy, which may then “fly out” to another location while the body remains behind.

The body becomes alone while part of the spirit leaves.

  1. What conclusion did the mind reach during and after the event?

Pay attention to:

  • loss of energy (→ out)
  • intrusion of energy (← in)

Possible past lives triggered by the event should be identified and “parked” temporarily for later therapeutic work.

  1. Identify any attached energy or entity that may have been attracted by the accident or traumatic event and may have intensified the pain or complaint.

Possible issues include:

  • loss of life force,
  • attachment to locations,
  • attachment to houses, cars, instruments, or tools,
  • torture associations,
  • or car-crash imprints.

Check the body carefully.

  • Where is the storage?
  • Where is the pain?
  • Where is the stuck energy?

Release it.

If energy has been lost, retrieve it.

Repeat the procedure until the process feels complete.

  1. At each stage, move toward clarification and specificity.

Follow the internal flow of the impact.

Trace:

  • where the energetic wave travelled,
  • where it became stuck,
  • and whether the location contains a memory or reaction.

Usually, the place where the energy is trapped is painful.

Gently place a finger on the location and instruct the client that the energy may now leave.

You may dramatize the release with: “1, 2, 3 — let it go → out.”

  1. Remain alert to the impact of “invisible fields.”

Be precise.

  1. Follow the impact and its consequences, identifying where they are stored or stuck.

The therapist may place a hand on the affected area, or ask the client to place their own hand or finger there to strengthen focus.

  1. Again follow:
  • postulates (thoughts),
  • and triggers (ICW and PL).

  1. Relive the accident or event again from a bird’s-eye view.
  2. Repeat:
  • hit,
  • impact,
  • body response,
  • thought,
  • consequent postulate.
  1. Now release the stored energy.

Return again to:

  • impact,
  • flow,
  • stuck location,
  •

Ask whether any organ is carrying the energetic charge. Release it.

  1. Check. Feel. The body should feel more flexible.

The client should experience relief.

Past lives may still need to be explored and healed, after which authentic energy and life force should be reintegrated.

Postulates may also include inner-child experiences from the present life.

Address them. Do inner-child work. Be precise. Be thorough. Be logical.

Catharsis may occur at a spiritual level, even when the body remains physically damaged.

Reliving the accident or event again should now feel more matter-of-fact and respectful, while pain may begin to heal.

Healing can finally begin.

Reliving the accident is NOT retraumatising.

When undertaken by an appropriately trained practitioner with adequate stabilisation and pacing, therapeutic revisiting is intended to process rather than reproduce the trauma; nevertheless, the client’s arousal and dissociation must be monitored carefully. In Regression Therapy, we return in order to retrieve what was lost, recover what became trapped in time, and respectfully acknowledge what the person endured.

Once the hurt is no longer hidden, the wound may finally be cleansed and the issue permanently resolved.

NOTES

Finding an inner child

Respectfully apply ICW toward integration.

Allow the adult self of today to deal with the theme, thereby liberating the inner child and allowing the adult personality to process the experience.

Finding a non-human presence

Animals also require healing and understanding.

Guide them back to the soul energy of their origin.

Think of:

  • war horses,
  • elephants,
  • faithful dogs,
  • or rats from dungeons.

Finding a non-human presence such as ETs

Extra-terrestrial or intra-terrestrial beings may possess a different bodily structure and energetic scheme.

Teach them that humans die physically, meaning that the soul leaves the body and continues into another stage of existence.

Some “alien” beings may fear death because they do not understand this process.

Help them observe from a bird’s-eye perspective:

“You see? Your body is gone. Time passed and the body died.”

This may help end old programmes and release confusion.

These ET or “alien” characters may sometimes symbolise previous existences of the client, including lost or attached fragments from others.

Why did they not integrate previously?

Because they were:

  • lost,
  • confused,
  • fearful,
  • unaware of death,
  • longing for a home that no longer exists.

Despair may result from this.

Also investigate:

  • their programmes,
  • their companions from previous existences,
  • and their energetic dimensions.

Some dimensions may exist on or around this planet.

Occasionally different beings are encountered symbolically as existing underground or within the Earth.

If such beings possess consciousness, they require explanation and understanding.

At the same time, proper energetic boundaries must be established.

Generally, attached energies should be guided back to where they belong or originated from.

Harmful attached energies

Some attached energies may appear malign, focused on harming humans or feeding on destructive emotional states.

This appears frequently.

Such energies should be stopped and neutralised.

Do not “return” a harmful tool to an abuser.

Dissolve and recycle destructive energy.

If confusion or trance remains, apply ATR again until the client and body feel peaceful and free.

Advise the client to undertake a proper Regression Therapy session later regarding the past lives that emerged.

Perform spirit release when necessary and integrate inner-child aspects.

ATR in Dissociation

Allow the client to observe themselves from outside, from a bird’s-eye view.

They may perceive energetic fields.

Ask:

  • Since when has this been with you?
  • What exactly is it?
  • How does it influence you?
  • Where does it come from?
  • Who is the owner of this energy?

If the client responds: “I don’t know,” this may indicate the presence of a confused inner child.

Do not allow excessive silence or overthinking. The client may begin mentally constructing alternative scenarios without communicating them.

Remain focused. Be guiding. Be informed. We need logic.

At the same time, the body may require time for the authentic story to emerge and for the mind to gradually accept it.

The client needs logical understanding in order to digest and process the experience fully.

ATR may also be highly beneficial in cases involving concussion.

Proceed step by step. Do not end the process prematurely.

Investigate why the client continued holding on to the pain or suffering and whether it may have unconsciously “served” some function in their life.
