Richard Stammler*, Ph.D., began his academic studies in psychology at the University of Akron including graduate studies and a master’s thesis, Psychological Sequelae of Viral Encephalitis in Children, conducted in conjunction with a pediatric neurologist. After serving as a pilot and pilot instructor in the United States Air Force, he completed his Ph.D. in transpersonal psychology. He taught undergraduate and graduate classes as a teaching intern while completing his Master’s Degree, and later at San Antonio College as a psychologist. He holds certifications in Ericksonian hypnotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy from IARRT and is director of the Warrenton Inner Healing Center in Warrenton, Virginia, where he conducts transpersonal therapy. Author and publisher of new age and related topics, he regularly leads transpersonal workshops.
